Pie Night

After another day of trying to sort out my house - now onto bathroom floors and electricians - I took the boys out to Pie Night at The Old Horns in Bradfield. Ben had the Yorkshire Pie - beef cooked in ale, a layer of mushy peas under the pastry crust and topped with Wensleydale cheese. Josh had the Dambuster - beef cooked in local Lancaster Bomber Ale. They were mystified when I ordered a salad! Nice chat - lovely evening. The village is still proudly displaying its Tour de France credentials with yellow bikes everywhere.
