Two hours in the semi dark twinkling with Michelin stars feasting on fabulous French scenery and the spicy fare and stories of Maison Mumbai, the cheeky interloper.
Then a two-hundred metre wander down the road to the Haweli Indian Restaurant for more feasting on:
lamb saag
lasooni tikka
vegetable biryani
tordka dahl
plain naan
and chrysanthemum tea (not exactly Indian but hey what's not to love about a tightly curled tea flower that blossoms in the cup)

Haweli is a Hindu word meaning a private royal residence. A perfect match for 'her maj' Helen Mirren!
