Burying a bit of time @SLCek

This morning, amidst the wind and rain, I attended a breakfast event to mark the start of a new build project at South Lanarkshire College.

In the picture we see Michael Russell, Cabinet Secretary for Education, but better know to Blippers as Feorlean, stooping to bury a time capsule. Watching him are from the left Jane McCartney, Chair of the College Board of Management, Michelle Bingham, Student President, and Stewart McKillop the College Principal.

The new building will be built to the latest and very highest of environmental standards, and even the building process will be used to enhance the education of construction students at the college.

It is great to see colleges investing and expanding their facilities. Even more so at a college with such a fine and deserved reputation.
