Early start!

Well a 3AM start which is pretty early even for me!
On the way home for a break I passed the harbour to see the St Peter Port lifeboat towing in a French yacht which they rescued from some way toward Alderney, I think.
She was just entering the harbour and about to pass the tow to one of the Harbour dories which is the small boat to the right!
Lifeboat crews do great things in all weather, for no pay but if you had to perform a rescue, today was the day to do it, very calm sea and extremely crisp good visibility.
Although was was really quite chilly at 0300 this morning it is now noon and a beautiful warm day.
