Blue Haze
Cold and dull today so I thought I would spice up one of this morning's blips.

Wow! Thanks to everyone for the fabulous comments on my entry for February 5th. I really do appreciate them.
If you were around Aubourn in Lincolnshire around 4.30 on Friday 5th February you may have noticed my erratic driving after I spotted this misty scene. I whipped the car round, zoomed the 200 yards down the road and then abandoned the vehicle as I hastily threw the Nikon strap over my head.
As I landed in the mud after my leap over the fence I was immediately reminded that I had just left the office and that the shoes I was wearing were not ideal for the muddy terrain. I couldn't stop though as the sun was setting fast.
The first two or three shots were blurred as I was walking, slipping and shooting - not a good combination.
With the sun almost gone there was little left of it but a gentle cerise glow over the clouds. This was a perfect border for the resultant misty scene although the shot was subsequently cropped to rid it of a telephone line.
I had mud up to my ankles and a smile on my face as I rushed through the front door. Oops, an ear bashing from the boss was awaiting me as I had neglected to call whilst on my earlier detour. Still it was worth it.
