Double Decker Houses

This is an example of double-decker housing which is quite common in Hebden Bridge. The lower dwellings (first two rows of windows) are accessed from this street and are built 'back to earth'.. The upper dwellings (the top two rows of windows) are accessed from the road on the left and are 'through light' houses.
