Vall D'Aran

This is the view from our friends' house in the Pyrenees where we spent the last 4 days of our vacation. Every time we arrive here we make for the terrace to take in this vista looking down the valley. The light here changes constantly and although I've photographed this view many times every image is different.

Our hosts Dasia and Chris pamper us in the manner of a five star hotel. We've joked with them that we should give them a review on Trip Advisor but that is not possible, but Blip Advisor is very possible:

Pros: Stunning location. Early morning tea served in bed before a breakfast of fine cheeses, jamon, croissants and a selection of preserves. Transport to and from a series of superb eating places. Free Wi-fi. Outdoor activities including white water rafting. Indoor activities including Pictionary and Scrabble. A frisky Pyrenean mountain dog for company.

Cons: One of our table mats was inexplicably placed upside down during breakfast.
