Buckingham Palace

We went on a coach trip to London today which included a tour of the 19 State Rooms in Buckingham Palace. It was fantastic, so many treasures to see and it was lovely seeing the Childhood Exhibition too.
Photography wasn't allowed in the Palace only outside, so this is a view of the back of the Palace from the gardens where the summer garden party's are held.
We then had afternoon tea at the Strand Palace Hotel which was well organised and the food appetising. We managed to take some photographs of the River Thames and various landmark buildings before a very good journey home, an hour ahead of schedule!
I have a sort of confession to make which I will be blipping tomorrow, so watch this space!
