It was freezing cold last night. I kept waking up to check the children were well covered.

We went for a bike ride through the forest first thing. The sun came out and we started to warm up a bit.

We drove into Poole and caught the ferry across to Brownsea Island. We saw lots of peacocks and were desperately searching for red squirrels but didn't see any. When we finished our walk around the island the ferry took a guided tour the whole way round the island. Again it was freezing but very interesting.

We then headed back to our camp site and enjoyed fish and chips on the green.

The children stayed up late, playing in the park and cycling around.

We have more layers on tonight.....
