Rheinberg War Cemetery

This hazy Sunday was the right day to stop at the Rheinberg War Cemetery , to pause and to take some deep breaths. It is such a sad, but also very peaceful place.
There are buried 2458 British soldiers, 516 Canadian, 240 Australian, 104 New Zealand, 5 South African, 1 Indian, 8 Polish 1 American and 1 unidentified.
I will never understand, why so many people must die in senseless wars!
