Chilled tropics

Well, that's how Edinburgh has felt this afternoon: at work, people sneaking electric heaters out of cupboards to counter the chill in their offices and classrooms (heating goes on in September at the earliest); outside, thunder and downpours between bursts of warm sunshine.
