Linemen

Following up on Monday's failed mission, and with spectacles (though not camera) restored to working order, I walked the last short stretch of the Bradford Millennium Way to complete the 45 miles, well over two years since I started it.

Walking out to the point at which I left the route on Monday, I kept passing large generators the reason being revealed when I came across this group of linemen repairing or upgrading the electricity lines. Not a great day to be working up in the sky, but I guess that is often the case for those that follow this occupation.

And on that subject, a version of Wichita Lineman that you may not have heard before.
