SC MAY 14 1950

I came across this arborglyph a couple of years ago and then lost track of exactly where in the woods it was located. When I produced my photobook of arborglyphs last year this one didn't feature because I couldn't find it but today I stumbled across it whilst trying to track an albino squirrel. The squirrel got away but at least I got the arborglyph. The other arborglyphs are earlier and mostly appear to have been made by Canadian troops during the Second World War. I quite like this one because its the only post war one with a precise date and because I've found 'SC' carved elsewhere and can, I think, now rule those out of the set presumed (or known) to have been carved between 1939 and 1945.
