Mynarski's Memorial

Today RAF Waddington saw a meeting of 3 historic bomber aircraft. Two Avro Lancasters PA474 and KB726 aka 'Thumper' and 'Vera' stood and flew alongside Avro Vulcan XH558. Today in Lincoln the first turf was cut on the site of the Bomber Command Memorial while all 3 aircraft flew overhead. It was an emotional and historic day, and one which sadly is unlikely to happen again due to XH558 coming to the end of her flying life.

The picture is KB726 also called 'Mynarski's Memorial'
