Two priests

I guess a trip to York wouldn't be complete without a visit to York Minster so off we went. We picked the right day to be indoors as it started to rain heavily as we stood in the que to get in. There were three American women behind us in the line (a mother and daughters) talking loudly and wondering how much it was to get in. When we finally got inside they announced to one of the staff that they were there to attend Communion mass (apparently you don't have to pay to get in if you want to use the cathedral as it was intended) I suppose maybe they did intend to go to mass but later on my friend saw them wandering around outside the area where mass was given. So the question is...did they just want to save a few bucks as it were? Anyhow I took this photo of the two priests (or is it minister?) as they were guarding the entrance to the area where mass was being given. I'd like to think that they weren't talking about anything too solemn (maybe gossiping about what one of the other clergy had got up to the night before)
This is our last day in York, it went by so quickly, now hopefully a quiet train journey home and a relaxing day off tomorrow.
