Christchurch Chalice....

Spikes2013 and I went for our usual Friday walk/photo/coffee this morning. It was a lot better day than yesterday- cool but lovely blue sky. We ended up in the Square and of course the Chalice. It is a beautiful sculpture built for the Millenium- 2000. It has 6 different sets of leaves which identifies the 6 native trees that were on the Canterbury Plains pre European. I love it, and loved it this morning with the clouds.
