Victoria Station

Spent most of the day travelling too and from London for a 90 minute meeting. Up to London Bridge, tube to Oval, walk to Vauxhall. On the way back walk to Victoria, tube from Embankment to Charing Cross only to arrive the moment a train back to Mottingham was pulling out!

I liked this shot of Victoria, mainly because of the fascinating roof and the collection of staff in yellow hi-vis vests around the platform entrance barriers.

So it was a half hour wait for the next, time to eat lunch and do a bit of people watching. Time at a station is never wasted in my opinion, always something interesting to see as the world passes by your seat (if you can find one that is)

Did a few more things to prepare for California next week, then sliced and salted 3 long cucumbers plus two big onions for another batch of cucumber pickle.
