Borage
What I thought would become today's blip simply just did not grab me - it was a nice enough image, but nothing that excited me.
So, into the garden I went... The borage was planted two years ago, and keeps on self-seeding. Bees love it, and the flowers are just gorgeous. Good for adding to compost, too, as it really helps to break down the plant material.
I have friends coming over for dinner tonight - I may just pick some for the table. Bobotie, stewed peaches, green beans and baby potatoes on the menu. Bobotie is normally served with saffron rice (and called funeral rice in Afrikaans), but I find it too dry.
