Varyag Memorial, Lendalfoot

The Russian warship ran aground in Carleton Bay and sank off the coast of Lendalfoot in 1920.
The memorial is to pay tribute to the crew.
The ship was involved in a heroic battle in the Russian- Japanese war in 1904.
