What summer?

Everyone is moaning in our village about the rotten summer. This makes me smile as, in fact, the summer has been similar to a reasonable English summer, sunshine and showers. It has not been wall to wall sunshine though and today the clouds have hung over the mountains all day. I have still not removed the prime lens from the camera. Its wide aperture is useful and I have enjoyed looking for shots without the luxury of the zoom lens to help with composition.
