A great favourite with visitors to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, this little Egyptian statuette of a hippopotamus  comes from the tomb of the steward Senbi at Meir.

Of course this is not the real thing but a treasured magnet I bought at the airport a few years ago because we arrived at the museum to find it closed!  Always check opening hours!
