Bees in heaven

The weather was reasonable again, so we went for a walk in the Karavanke alps that form the border between Slovenia and Austria. We chose Golica as it was easily accessible, and has a hut on its flank, where we could get afternoon tea. It was windier and cooler than Sunday (a sign of things to come), but mostly fine, We walked up through pine and beech forest and stopped for some lunch at the border, which these days is marked by small white posts in a few places, We ate sat on a seat and watched the bees as they swam about in the thistle flowers.
