Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday. Today was my mums 71st birthday and my dad was 74 on Saturday and I was lucky enough to be here to celebrate with them.

We drove down and got stuck on the motorway going very slowly or not at all. It appears that it was something to do with the V Festival finishing and thousands joining the M6.

After a very long time we finally arrived in Bath, my home town. It always makes me feel good when we drive down the hill to my parent's house.

We had birthday cake, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, jelly and a bottle of bubbly. They were pleased with their presents.

The sun came out really bright and me and my dad sat on one of their sofas soaking up the sunshine, nearly nodding off. The warmth and the 2 glasses of wine were highly soporific.

Later on we had a great big chinese take away blow out meal .

A very good day.
