The Heirloom

Spent the day with L visiting the Nidd Art Trial. Local artists living in or near the Nidd Valley around the town of Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire opened their studios for people to see their work.

We visited several studios, workshops and artists homes to see and talk about their work, so very interesting.

I spied the old wringer in a garden. It had been left for it to slowly deteriorate over time. Looking closely there were so many subtle colours as the wood and metal slowly broke down.

Home now, exhausted!
