Strathwonderwall

The Graham Hills Building (Strathclyde University) makeover knows no bounds. There are so many murals on it that it could keep me going for a month! There is even a Twitter site where people can post their pictures of the art works. It was such a nondescript 60s concrete block of a building, and now it has become a canvas to celebrate the clever scientists, explorers and social reformers that the University has produced over 150 years or so of learning within the institution in its various guises. The rather serious gent on the left is African explorer David Livingstone, national hero of late 19th century Britain who campaigned to break the stranglehold of the slave trade. I do not know who the others are!
