room with a view

This is the ultimate room with a view, as far as I'm concerned.

It's the front room in the Kimberley Inn, Findhorn. You're looking out over the bay.

We had dinner in there tonight, while recovering after a 14 mile walk to Burghead and back. A 7 mile (almost empty) beach lies between the two villages. Irresistible.

The last hour was a bit tough as the strong wind had been in our faces for all of the return leg, but still lots of fun. First time I'd walked that route, although I have sailed it.

A lovely lunch in Burghead too (The Bothy).

It is possible to better the view from the room - sit outside on the terrace. Unfortunately no use when it's raining and 10˚
