Redwood again

Today's hike was on French Trail in Redwood Regional Park.

Here we have third growth redwood trees, the first and second growth trees having been cut down long ago. To see first growth redwoods, you would need to head north to Redwood National Park. It's worth the trip if you're in California.

Redwood Regional Park, however, is just outside Oakland, a short drive from our home.
