Walking the dog

My friends little nephew came over today and he loves Roo, so after a game of football with him and then chase around the field, he asked if he could walk him.

I was never sure how Roo would react with young kids because as a tiny puppy he got sat on by a child and was always very unsure, I remember when he passed as a therapy dog thinking working with dementia and stroke patients we would never have to worry.

Then the call came out for him to go to crufts, he must have been touched by a thousand children and never reacted once, he then did a spell working with terminally ill children in a hospice and that's when I realised what a special little guy he is, he would just snuggle up to these very ill children and make them smile, something a lot of them hadn't done in awhile.

So now Roo loves his visits from Alfie a little friend to play with.
