The lump of concrete in the garden when we bought this place was most likely a former washing line pole base, uprooted when the previous resident ponced up the garden and installed triffids in the corner. It shall now support a washing line once more, possibly in conjunction with the second similar lump of concrete (which lacks an embedded pole-end) if I can fit it in the space behind this one and install an eyebolt.
