On our way from Akureyri back to Hveragerði, we made a detour and saw a part of the North that we had not seen before. Had a lovely lunch of fish caught that morning, in a tiny town called Hofsós. This little church was just outside of the town. The trip home that should have taken 5 hours at the most, ended up taking 10 hours, but we saw lots of interesting sights on the way.
