Poppy Seed Head and Bindweed

Many Blippers leave lovely comments on my journal. For this I am grateful. It makes me happy, not just in receiving compliments, but in knowing that my images have given pleasure to others. However, when people write things like "you have a beautiful garden" I feel such a sham because by garden is far from beautiful. This shot is more representative than my flower photos.

Once it was quite a nice garden, though not quite up to the standard set by the many keen gardeners in this district. In recent years, however, I have not been able to keep it up as I did before. Still, among the ruins I find fragments of beauty, and these are what I enjoy presenting to you.
