Kings Standing

My route to visit Mother takes me across the Ashdown Forest. At King's Standing there is always an ice cream van.

This photo is taken from the King's Standing clump which is a group of trees on one of the highest parts of the Forest where the King would stand to watch the deer being shot.

It is difficult to drive past without stopping for an ice cream.
