Loch Ness

I must have been up and down the A82 Loch Ness road hundreds of times over the years yet have only ever seen the Loch Ness Monster three times. (Now there’s a good back blip)
I was on the road early to be at the Inverness garage for 8.00am to get the car serviced and I added a couple of minutes to the journey to grab this snap at the very south end of the Loch near Fort Augustus. I know Lyns has stopped here for a blip too.
Mrs SJR felt somewhat short changed at missing a trip to Inverness but I did get her a wee pressy to compensate. I used the garage time to go round a few of the phone shops to try and resolve a sim card issue. We are very keen to complain and forget to give credit where it is due. I was at three phone shops and was given sound, honest and professional advice at each. A ten pound PAYG data card is hardly a big contract sale at the end of the day. The service was pretty expensive but they were helpful and efficient too and I got a text mid morning to say they were finished. This was handy because I got back down the road in time to do a small survey at Spean Bridge; a client who just phoned me yesterday with some urgency.
