Nature taking over
Parthenocissus quinquefolia, also known as Victoria creeper, five-leaved ivy, or five-finger, is a species of flowering plant in the vine family Vitaceae. In Finnish we call it the wild vine, because it produces small black berries in the autumn.
I went to Tiilentie to mow the lawn there once again, and noticed that our lawn chairs had been taken over by this creeper wonder. It must have grown several meters in a month!
Makes you wonder about Chernobyl and the human fingerprints on the earth in the end - how quickly it is all covered and forgotten. Well, I would definitely like to be able to forget about my house selling project soon. There will once again be open house this Monday - so keeping my fingers crossed once again.
