Lost in Thought

Lord Leycester Hospital

An early morning shot of the  Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick.
It is a fascinating building well worth a look around and  the coffee shop is a welcome change from the chains which dominate so many high streets now.

This is the 'standard view' of the building ... although I have had to clone out a couple of rather ugly road signs which now intrude into what was previously a picturesque spot.  Have a look for earlier images on Flikr.

Edit - having read through SarumStroller's notes on processing I'll most likely revisit this shot at some point,  but given that I'll have to re-clone out the signposts, not before the end of today.  I'll probably get rid of the white triangles on the speed bump too, or perhaps crop it out altogether.

Our local council, in a genuinely well intentioned effort to make the street more pedestrian friendly, put in a series of dividers with raised up crossings and keep left signs on short posts, they are what what I cloned out.  Sadly, the posts are driven into quite regularly, which means the road is speed restricted by the almost ever present repair crews.
