masts in the mist

My planned early walk to beat the bank holiday crowds turned into a dash to the lake in the car when I spotted pink clouds from the house.

One of my 'promises' when starting blip was that I wasn't going to use the car just to drive somewhere, take a few photos and drive home. I've just broken it.

Even driving to Waterhead, the pink had faded when I arrived but the mist and reflections were good. I tried other compositions to the left of the jetty without the mooring ropes but preferred the colour and mist effect in this.

Blip posted before 9am, having another hot cup of tea to warm up and looking forward to a relaxing day.
