Lisboa

Today we substituted pool side rejection for a day around Lisbon. It was great and really enjoyable! I was really impressed with Lisbon's character and quantity of things to do, places to see and vibrancy.

It was a lot hotter in the city than our usual coastal location. The kids got cartoon sketches drawn on our first stop. We then meandered around the design museum, the usual vintage shops and in cafés for liquid refreshments. It was great getting lost down little streets and finding ourselves in a cool little boutique or on one occasion at a viewing platform over the entire city!! Considering Evie is meant to be scared of heights, she seem to love it...

We then decided upon a little Italian restaurant in a secluded courtyard off the main drag. Pizza and beer was most welcome after a tiring day! I thoroughly enjoyed the day today and the kids did really well in walking all that distances in those temperatures too.
