My Tree

This cherry tree grows outside my window. I call it "My Tree", but of course it isn't mine. I don't have a garden. I am not "A Proper Sort of Gardener", as described by Maggie Holland in her beautiful song of that name. Once a year, without even a drum roll, "My Tree" bursts into blossom. I don't know how to say thanks for that. But it makes me happy.
