Gustav Holst celebration

The composer Gustav Holst (1874-1934) lived in Thaxted where it is believed he composed the Planet Suite. This weekend Thaxted Church held an exhibition of 80 floral displays of Gustav’s music to celebrate the 80th anniversary of his death.
