Black/Grant Street/Waterloo bridge over the River Ness, Inverness. At close to high tide time.
Accidentally tripped the shutter before quite ready, and quickly took another. Perhaps too quickly, as the two images overlapped. Have never had that happen before. A bit of cutting and pasting, along with cropping was required to make it look like a single exposure. There was a slight difference in the overlapping frames, despite the same settings be used (manual exposure), so some blurring of the join was attempted too - not very successfully, to my eye. But then I know where it is. Could have been caused by the batteries running a bit low, and using the lens stabilisation (VR - Vibration Reduction as Nikon calls it) putting an extra load on the battery.
Gardening today – start clearing back fence area, and dig out the first of the former posts concrete bases. Found a little Newt under the collapsed fence. Loads of couch grass. Cycle in to town for shopping and this Blip this evening.
