Standing man

I've been reading Stoner by John Williams during my commute. It is a beautiful book and I'd nearly finished it when my train pulled into Paddington this morning.

I decided to try and finish it on a bench near Little Venice. I didn't quite manage it before I had to head for the tube but it was nice to sit in the sun, deep in a book while the world went by me.

The two statues by Sean Henry that are on the canal side are quite striking, particularly as people rush past them. This one is Standing Man.
