Climbing the Bridge

Today was a particularly exciting day as TSP and I had tickets to climb up the Forth Road Bridge as part of its 50 years anniversary celebration.
Forecast had been indicating rain but we were so lucky and it was beautiful while we were up there. The trip involved going up in a tiny elevator before climbing up a long, narrow ladder before reaching the top. Some stunning views at the top and I'm feeling really lucky that I was able to go up, seeing as I go past the bridge every day! Maybe I'll get to do the rail bridge at some point and possibly the Queensferry bridge in the future!
