The Waiting Game...

What a rediculous system !! Cataract op ... Please turn up at 11.30 for your operation and wait till 3.30pm. They don't give you any warning that this is the norm and therefore we set off leaving the dog thinking it would all be done within a few hours!!! Thank goodness I thought to leave a key and managed to get a neighbour to let her out. We didn't get home until 6. Anyway it is done and although a bit bruised and uncomfortable for him tonight he can see better through it than before so there is hope!!!
While he waited I went shopping and ended up spending on me!!! Hurray!! Then holed up in Costa for a while- poor me!
