Kite flying

This morning we said goodbye to our visitors - they are heading off to Ireland for the last leg of their holiday before heading back me to NZ. We have loved having them to stay - CJ in particular has really enjoyed their company!

After dropping them to the airport, we headed back home to get all the baby gear out of the attic. While I started sorting through some of it, S2 entertained CJ and one of the activities they did was kite flying!

And CJ loved it (not that you can tell much from the photo)- he made sure that he held onto it very tightly so it didn't get away and had a huge grin as the kite swooped from one side to the other!

After the excitement of the kite wore off, we then had another surprise for CJ - Pixel was coming on a car journey with us. She needed to go to the vets for a check up so we all jumped into the car and headed off - CJ giggling with delight that Pixel was with us!

Thanks N&N for the little gift you left us (you really didn't need to). As you can see S2 has been enjoying it already!
