There's always something

Invading our house and garden. There's deer, pack rats, beavers, voles, mice+++, tent caterpillars and now the last straw... Ants all over my kitchen! Aargh!! However, no pest control company required... the good old fashioned remedy of honey laced with borax did the trick. I had rivulets of the stuff running down my cupboards and blobs all along the counter top and they just loved it. I found them quite fascinating to watch as they scurried back and forth along their little roads. Every time they pass another ant going the other way they stop and greet each other before carrying on. They eventually just quit coming in after a week.
