Playing croquet at Gunby Hall

Getting into the swing of how the other half lives - yesterday at Doddington Hall - today we visited Gunby Hall. We played croquet on the side lawn and romanced about living in the beautiful hall - but concluded we would probably be below stairs!!
It was a glorious day and there were hundreds of butterflies in the walled garden feasting on colourful gerberas and dahlias. I resisted posting a butterfly picture as today Megan and Chloe returned home and so this will the last grandchild shot for some time!
Louis went to Cadwell Park and had a great day at The Superbikes Championship.
The weather was perfect - a great day all round.
