Pop-up Boutique
We sat down to a carpet picnic lunch today and looked up to a Barbie boutique, painstakingly constructed on the window-sill with frocks hanging off the venetian blind slats. I grabbed my camera, exposed, composed then shot at the precise instant that the light changed from grim and overcast to vibrant, clear, bright pre-storm. So the background is completely lost and overexposed. I prefer that to venetian blinds and hedge, so have kept it how it is. I also tried cropping down to just the shoe display, but the ethereal frocks wanted to stay in shot.
Just put an exhausted girl to bed after a barbeque with friends, she asked for the boutique to stay out so she can play again tomorrow.
