Old Sana'a

Me and my brother went to the British Embassy for his appointment for his visa application to the UK. Can't believe how much more complicated the process has become, and to think I had it bad back in 2010...

Headed afterwards to Old Sana'a (Bab Al Yemen market specifically) for some winding down. It's really sad to see how devoid of tourists the place is amid security concerns; there were even a few merchants who spoke upwards of 3 languages which aren't getting much use now.

Around midday, a car belonging to Houthis passed around the city, calling for demonstrations starting 3pm. I later watched the demonstrations around 6pm from the hotel window, ridiculous how many followers they've got! Thankfully no violence occurred.
