Top Gannets

Fishing the tail of the Top Gannets pool at Ballogie on the Dee this evening as the sun set on another great week. I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. It was chilly though - two jumpers and a jerkin. The week has passed so quickly. I lost a beautiful fresh run fish this morning. They've been far too scarce this year. An osprey flew low over us as we reached the river but I was too slow changing my lens and it was away over the trees. Gill took this one.
