'Ripening'..........!

This is one of only about 8 apples on our young tree this year....
they are swelling up nicely now and I'm hoping to leave them as long as possible....
that's hoping that Mel doesn't decide to 'PICK' them one of the days...
since catching here playing with a small green one last week...
I've been keeping a very close eye on them...
not sure whether she 'took it' or 'found it'.....
I took it off her and she hasn't gone near them again
so, hopefully the few on it may reach maturity...
bad year, very few blossoms and one side of the tree didn't blossom at all!!
They look lovely tho'..........!
